# Add Social Media Accounts to a Warmr iPhone Device

> Log in to TikTok or Instagram on a connected iPhone, then add the account in Warmr so it begins warmup and joins the posting rotation.

Once your iPhones are connected, configured, and have the [runner installed](/setup/install-runner), you are ready to add social media accounts. Warmr supports TikTok, Instagram, X, and LinkedIn. You log in directly on the iPhone through the Warmr interface, and from that point Warmr takes ownership of the account, running warmup activity, tracking maturity, and slotting the account into the posting rotation when it is ready.

## What happens after you add an account

  <Card title="New accounts" icon="sprout">
    Enter the warmup phase automatically. Warmr runs daily scroll, like, follow, and search activity to build a genuine usage history. The account is locked out of the posting rotation until it matures.
  </Card>

  <Card title="Existing / aged accounts" icon="bolt">
    Already-aged accounts with an established history may pass through warmup faster and join the posting rotation sooner. Warmr evaluates each account individually.

<Tip>
  An iPhone can hold up to 8 accounts per platform, but **3–4 TikTok or Instagram accounts per iPhone is the best-practice sweet spot** for keeping them healthy. You can still mix platforms on one device, for example, a few TikTok accounts alongside a few Instagram accounts.
</Tip>

<Note>
  Warmr will not allow a brand-new account to post until it has matured through the warmup phase. This protects the account from early bans that commonly occur when fresh accounts post without any prior activity.
