# X and LinkedIn Account Warmup: Stay Active with Warmr

> Warmr keeps your X and LinkedIn accounts healthy through daily warmup activity, preventing them from going cold between manual posts.

Warmr supports X (formerly Twitter) and LinkedIn for account warmup, keeping accounts active, healthy, and free from dormancy flags. If you manage these accounts alongside your TikTok and Instagram farms, Warmr runs warmup activity on all platforms in parallel so nothing goes cold.

## What Warmr does on X

Warmr drives the X iOS app with the same real-tap approach it uses on every other platform. There is no unofficial API and no browser automation involved.

## What Warmr does on LinkedIn

LinkedIn warmup follows the same pattern: real taps, real app, real activity signals.

## Device setup

Up to **8 accounts per platform**. X and LinkedIn are **warm-only** today (no auto-posting), so they run alongside your TikTok and Instagram accounts on the same devices.

Every iPhone needs the same one-time setup, and it covers **every** platform: set a device up once and it can warm and post on TikTok, Instagram, X, and LinkedIn.

* **Developer Mode** on (Settings → Privacy & Security → Developer Mode).
* **UI Automation** on (Settings → Developer → Enable UI Automation): required, or no automation runs.
* **Appearance = Light** and **StandBy = Off**: the two settings that cause most failed sessions.
* **Auto-Lock = Never** and **Brightness ≥ 50%**.
* The **Warmr runner** installed on the device.

See [Prepare each iPhone](/setup/iphone-settings) for the full checklist, then [Install the runner](/setup/install-runner).

## Account warmup lifecycle

X and LinkedIn accounts move through the same warmup lifecycle as TikTok and Instagram. Warmr brings each account from fresh to kept-warm before it is ready for any posting activity you add manually.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Fresh">
    The account is newly added to Warmr. Daily warmup activity begins immediately.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Warmed up">
    Warmr has established a regular activity history: scrolling, liking, following.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Matured">
    The account has passed the maturity threshold and is in a healthy, active state.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Kept warm">
    Warmr continues daily activity indefinitely, so the account never goes dormant between your manual posts.
  </Step>
</Steps>

<Note>
  X and LinkedIn warmup works the same way as TikTok and Instagram warmup: real iPhone taps, no unofficial APIs. The difference is that these platforms are currently used for keeping accounts warm rather than automated posting.
</Note>

## Capacity

Each iPhone can run warmup for up to **8 accounts per platform**. You can run X and LinkedIn warmup on the same devices as your TikTok and Instagram accounts. Warmr interleaves activity across platforms automatically.

## Layout updates

When X or LinkedIn ships an app update that moves a button or changes a screen layout, Warmr's tap-based approach detects the change immediately. A patch ships within **24–48 hours** and your Mac app pulls it automatically on its next check-in.

<Tip>
  Use Warmr to keep your X and LinkedIn accounts warm while you post manually or through a dedicated scheduling tool. A consistently active account performs better even when you post by hand. Algorithms on both platforms deprioritize dormant accounts regardless of post quality.
